- Why: Bridging the Twin Cities music, art, and activist scenes with an all day celebratory event. Music will feature a variety of local artists of various genres, featuring Heiruspecs and White Light Riot, in addition to Kanser with More than Lights, Truthmaze (Tru Ruts), Indigo, St. Paul Slim, Muja Messiah, Lucy Michelle and the Velvet Lapelles, GENA, Vinnie Toma, plus poetry by MN Spoken Word Association. The event will also include info booths for all the event cosponsors, an aerosol art expo, an environmental justice themed poetry jam by the Minnesota Spoken Word Association, a skateboard demo by 3rd Layer, and refreshments provided by local, independent businesses.
